My role is to cultivate an environment where vulnerability, mistakes, playfulness, and adventurous creative exploration are not only accepted but encouraged. I firmly believe that embracing the possibility of making mistakes is crucial for growth as a singer. In my studio, singers are empowered to freely express themselves, knowing that every crack, frack, squeak, and unconventional sound is an integral part of the learning process and is warmly welcomed!

While I play piano enough to support you in your singing, I’m happy to have accompanists in the lesson. Collaborating with a pianist can allow for further artistry and play with your voice. I will gladly refer you to accompanists in the area if you need assistance. If lessons are in via zoom, we will use backing tracks from a secondary device.
